Welcome back to Unbox the Inbox with me, your host, gary Redmond. On this podcast, you'll learn how to grow your subscription business using the power of free and mostly automated email marketing, and we'll hopefully have some fun doing it too. I'm a co-founder of BusterBoxcom and also a mentor and coach, helping founders like me and you create their dream life through their online business. So today I want to talk about just what I've been sort of mulling over in my head for a little bit of time now, and it's kind of become more and more sort of crystallized over the last year or so, I mean, over the last few years. You guys understand that I've obviously been running BusterBox. I have been running my coaching business on the side and I've been helping subscription box founders to grow their subscribers and their revenue and profits, similar to what using the things that we've learned, obviously, in BusterBox over those years, and we've actually recently, and are just about to cross the 15 million dollars in total sales mark since we launched the business, which is crazy seeing as we launched the business with like three grand each and so it's been. It's been quite a journey and I've also really, really enjoyed helping other people achieve similar success and to different levels and whether it's quitting their job or selling their subscription box business or whatever. Over the last few years it's been a great journey for me as well. But over the last sort of six to seven months, I had some friends reach out to me who have like fitness businesses, like personal trainers, and one of them's an online coach. One of them has a gym and basically I was helping them with their business, just at a free level, just helping people out, and within a few weeks I noticed one of them had double doubled his clients in the gym, which was really really good. Within about four months that took actually, to be honest. And then another and within a month or so of working together he had generated a new six, six new clients.

Um, and like, this is obviously not relevant to you if you're a subscription box business, but just I just wanted to sort of let you see the kind of light bulb moment that it gave me. It's like, well, like a lot of the business strategies are universal, okay, and especially with email marketing, like you use it to like, what I did with those guys was send out offers to their list if they already had an email list and if they didn't. We were using email as a second sales channel, as well as their instagram, to basically drive more signups, and obviously it was a free channel. So if they were paying for ads it would reduce costs. But it's kind of like it's very similar to what we do at Worcester Box, which is quite interesting.

So it kind of gave me the idea to sort of focus a little bit more on email marketing as a concept and not quite be so niched down into subscription boxes. So the reason I'm doing this is because, to be honest, subscription boxes is quite a small market and I can see that my skills are quite helpful to people in all sorts of online businesses. So what my plan is going forward next year is to not quite pivot I mean, I've always been the email guy anyway for the subscription box industry but to focus more on email marketing as a, as a skill and a strategy for any online business. Okay, so, um, yeah, it's something I've been thinking about for quite a while um, because it's just going to open, open up, um myself to be able to help more people and to give me some some more sort of content to talk about and stuff like that, rather than being focused totally on email marketing specifically for subscription boxes. It could be email marketing for online coaches, software businesses, health coaches, whatever it is, online education businesses, whatever it is, or any type of online business, even brick and mortar, who want to run online. So, yeah, that was just pretty much something I wanted to let you guys know about, but to mark a transition and to mark sort of my I want to give you guys a gift to really help you with the subscription boxes as much as possible, and I wanted to put together what I call the $15 million funnel.

Okay, so what this is is basically a collection of my most valuable workshops, is basically a collection of my most valuable workshops and three most valuable workshops I've ever run, as well as all my, my, my templates, my tools, my checklist and everything you need to get and to pretty much get the complete rundown of how to scale your subscription box business from zero to 15 million dollars in sales, like we did. Okay, inside the 15 million dollar funnel, you're going to get secrets to conversions, okay, which is a workshop. Basically, I ran where I talk through the exact website layout you have to have how to come up with offers that will actually maximize the conversions. How to write copy, how to understand your customer, understand your customer before you write the copy is very important. Wanting to write copy that's benefit-driven and not feature-driven, and also being able to create imagery that actually converts on your website. Okay, because the number one thing that you need to do in this industry is make sure that your website converts before you run any traffic or run any marketing whatsoever. Otherwise, you're literally wasting your time, because if people see all your advertising, see all your organic posts and do see all the work that you've been doing, and they get to your website and it doesn't convert, they're not going to buy. Okay. So this conversion workshop was probably my most popular one and that's going to be included in as part of the $15 million funnel Okay.

The second one is going to be email super launch. Okay, this is basically the email system that we use to capture emails, to segment them into leads, customers and cancel customers so we can hit them with different types of targeting. Also being able to create automated sequences to remind customers to come back over to your website and buy. Designing emails that sell, writing emails with sales copy that converts, and also automating the entire process so you can send traffic to your website. That number one now converts and number two captures emails. And also, you have a system to drive people back to your converting website using the email system that I show you in Email Super Launch.

Okay, the final one, the third part of the $15 million funnel, is Cash Friday. Okay, so this is the exact strategies that we use to generate between five and $20,000 in additional monthly income from our existing customers. Okay, so this is like an overview of the entire strategy for a successful subscription box business. Okay, secrets to conversions. You optimize your website to convert. You create an offer, you make sure people are coming over to your website and actually turning into customers and then want to set up the email system so you can follow up with people who are not ready to buy right away, even if someone is you know, someone might be a great customer. They come over to your website. They just don't have the money. You're just not ready to buy right away. The email super launch is showing you how to set up a system to capture them and automatically send them back to your website to buy. And then, finally, when you have Cash Friday, when you have customers coming in using the Cash Friday framework. What we do is we basically drive more and more revenue to our existing customers through add-ons, through upsells, through yes emails, and we're basically acquiring the customers and then we're maximizing the profit that we can make from them.

Okay, so, like, this is like the core of the entire funnel strategy which has driven so much in sales for me, and not only for me, but also the clients and students who work with me as well. Okay, so that's essentially the $15 million funnel and it's literally the most condensed, relevant and clear funnel path I can give you to scale your subscription box business to the heights that we did. Okay, like, obviously, it took me nine years to learn all these things and I've condensed them all before into my online course and that's very, that's very valuable and a lot of people take value from that. But this is what I'd call another condensing again. So, if you think nine years is, you know, the the farm. Let's think my online courses, maybe the the plate, but this is going to be like a, like a protein bar. Okay, this is going to be. You're going to be able to get as much information and the most relevant information for your business through the 15 million dollar fund.
